Unreal Engine 4

I have used this program throughout my time at university growing my knowledge and learning new skills. I can confidently design levels going from white box to full environment. I have done lots of work in the the material editor and particle system Cascade. I have also done work in Sequencer to create some show reel videos.

Autodesk Suite

The experience I have in the Autodesk suite is in 3DS Max, Maya and Mudbox but I am the most confident in 3DS Max. I can generate assets with clean topology and UV them . Utilising transfer maps in Maya for normal map generation and refining animations of characters. Using Mudbox to sclupt detail on to characters I have created.

Unreal Engine 4 Blueprints

My confidence in Blueprints has grown rapidly since starting my degree. I have skills in developing many different systems ranging from damage systems, moving objects and dynamic materials. I look forward to learning more about Blueprints in the future that will aid in my overall skill set.

Adobe Suite

I use two apps in the Adobe Suite on a regular basis, these are Photoshop for creating artwork, adjusting images and recently making opacity masks. The other app I use is Premier Pro, this is mainly to edit and gather show reel clips together for my work but I also utilised it to create the videos featured throughout my portfolio.

Unity

I have worked in Unity as part of a team project, featured in my portfolio, to design and create levels. I understand the basics of this engine from a level designers perspective but intend to spend more time working in Unity come the completion of my degree to further my knowledge and develop my skills.

MS Office Suite

MS Word is a program I use on a daily basis, I use it to formulate and consolidate ideas, develop concepts and document my work. I also utilise MS Excel to create asset lists, organise my time and collect data to analyse using many of Excel's built in tools and features.
